Welcoming Key Sole Fremantle into the Alreis family. Key Sole Fremantle will now stock Alreis gear.

Key Sole is a Western Australian based company, having five stores in Perth and recently opened up on Little Collins Street in Melbourne. Key Sole offer a variety of branded lifestyle products which include footwear, apparel, and accessories. For the sneakerheads, Key Sole is best known as the biggest carrier of Supra collection in Australia.

We have always been a big fan of the store, and the friendly staff members there. We are excited to see our latest products being displayed in the store. Our gear look fresh and I’m sure we will finally satisfy the huge demand from the customers by having our products in Key Sole. Keep up the good work Key Sole.

DJ Junior
DJ Junior has been known as one of the best DJ’s in Australia, holding the title of West Australian DMC Champion 3 times! Not only that he’s such a wizard on the turntables, but he knows how to rock the clubs. Junior loves to entertain the crowd with his super fast mixing and scratching using his elbow, shoulder, even blind folded! Junior has also played at various major festivals catering 40 000 people such as SummaDayze, Future Music Festival, Big Day Out, and Good Vibrations.

Redbull Thre3Style DJComp
Junior has been hand picked as one of the invitees to enter the Redbull Thre3Style Perth Qualifier where he would have to mash 3 different music genres to pump the crowd with. Redbull has carefully selected Perth’s top 8 DJs to battle it out at the Villa nightclub. Names such as Angry Buda, Charlie Bucket, Jus Haus have often appeared in DJ competitions, major music festivals, and big clubs around Perth. These DJ’s are the experts of party rocking.

And just as we thought, Angry Buda, Charlie Bucket, Jus Haus ripped the night. Each showcasing their talent not to only mix 3 different styles of music, but also entertain the crowd and keep them on the D-Floor raising their hands up while bumping up and down.

DJ Junior came on last just after midnight. You could see the focus and concentration on his face. He knows that other DJ’s have stepped the bar up, and now it is his turn to tear the club down. As soon as he started, it only took him minutes to get the crowd amped, jumping around,  singing along to their favourite tunes. 15 minute was all he had, wasting no time, he showcased the reason why he is 3 times DMC champion scratching and mixing with his shoulder, elbow, any body parts you can think of! The crowd was going nuts! Junior was going nuts!!! Vibing off the energy from the crowd, Junior couldn’t help it but to jump around, and dance behind the DJ deck. After his 15 minute set was done, the crowd gave him the loudest cheer of the night.

Later in that same morning, Junior was announced the winner of Redbull Thre3Style Perth Qualifier. He will be flown to Sydney to compete with the best DJ’s in Australia to take out the title and compete in the World Redbull Thre3Style Grand Final held in Vancouver, Canada.

Wordplay Magazine is Perth’s own local magazine dedicated to Street Culture, Art, Music, and Fashion. Wordplay Magazine together with Colosoul is a double magazine; where on one side Wordplay and on the other Colosoul.

On the current issue (July 2011) of Wordplay, Perth’s local band, The Stoops (http://www.facebook.com/TheStoopsOfficial) and  b-boy crew, Zou Rock are dressed by Alreis. We are proud to be featured on this magazine, as it shows not only our fresh tees, but the support of the artists and talents of Perth City.
